1. Participation Format

• Total entries: 4 entries from each respected house
• Time limit: 2–5 minutes
• Participants per entry: 1 only (solo entries only)

2. Submission Process

All entries must be submitted in written format (typed) as PDF.
The act can be in English, Hindi, Punjabi, or Urdu.
Submissions to be sent via email/text to the event coordinators.
The submission deadline is 18 June 2025.
Late entries will not be considered.

The written submission must include:
• Participant name
• Title of the piece
• Full text of the poem/shayari
• Contact details

4. General Rules

• Performance order will be decided by draw of lots.
• Any act of misconduct, plagiarism, or time violation may result in disqualification.
• The judges' decision will be final and binding.

5. Do's and Don'ts

Do’s:

• Perform original, self-written content.
• Adhere to the 3–5 minute time limit.
• Ensure clear articulation and confident stage presence.
• Respect fellow performers and the audience.
• Inform organizers in advance if using music or props.

Don’ts:

• No plagiarism or pre-written popular pieces.
• Avoid profanity, hate speech, or explicit content.
• Do not exceed the time limit.
• No disruptions during other performances.
• Refrain from reading directly off a device.
