A story is only as powerful as its teller — and its twist. Twist & Tale is a dynamic storytelling challenge where participants begin with their own original tale, but mid-performance, a surprise prompt will be given. The storyteller must then cleverly and seamlessly twist the plot to adapt to the new direction. Creativity, spontaneity, and narrative skill will define the winner.

1) Participation Format

• Total Entries: Open to all houses
• Participants per Entry: 1 only
• Only solo entries allowed
• Time Limit: 5-8 minutes
• Languages Allowed: English or Hindi

2) Submission Process

Participants must register in advance.
No pre-written submission required.
The prompt for the twist will be given live during the performance.

Each registration must include:
• Participant name
• House name
• Story title (if applicable)

4) General Rules

5) Do’s and Don’ts

Do’s:

• Choose an engaging, original or adapted story.
• Maintain strong voice modulation and body language.
• Clarify if the story is fiction or real-based.
• Stay within the time limit.
• Keep the narration structured and impactful.

Don’ts:

• Avoid inappropriate themes or graphic details.
• Don’t read from paper or screen.
• No use of background music unless pre-approved.
• Avoid overacting or mimicking known styles excessively.
